@jmvneto51 I guess you’re lucky (if you drive a car) that the oil companies didn’t listen to you!
This is yet another technology which allows us to defeat the black magicians and their spells over us to accept their view of reality. We must feed, house, and clothe this world in a resource based economy. No More Money.
The future is in fossil fuels people. BUY SHARES OF SHELL MMMUUUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
this will be the future. All the problems have a solution and corrosion and marine growth will be part off the answer to benifite us and the natural aquatic life, just be creative…
imagine the force that plays with heavy ships, boyancy and gravity.
This way of using wave energy is economicaly ineficiant. For example: low angle of vibration need a high coficient of multiplier for genegator, or very slow speed generator which is very expensive. Also not all waves have needed parameteres to take enegy. There must be anouther way to getting energy from wave
Hey, check out my website at ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com and get all the new and improved Equipments to build or buy your own solar panels and wind energy turbine systems ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com is a website that sells the most modern environmental products available
Thanks! I just did not see yet, and thats just me, any of these ´´floating“ projects that could convince me to be able to produce the amount of power we need and to be reliable and enduring. Inevitable at this moment we will go thru a stage of trial and errors. Many ideas will be put on paper or even produced. Many will work, but not enough to pay for their own cost or maintenance! They will be written off one after another. But I´m sure we will get there….
Your criticism is perfectly valid. Although, 3D visuals of devices on developers’ websites shine like new, corrosion and marine growth are problems that should not be overlooked. However, the relative weight of barnacles compared to the weight of the structure is likely to be negligible. Moreover, there are a number of concepts of wave energy devices (Edinburgh Duck, Searev, Oceantec…) that are fully enclosed (no moving part in contact with the seawater. These are interesting possibilities.
remember how the micro computer started. Certainly no thanks to governments.
I dont think any of these projects that are either floating or deep in the ocean has any future! One has to realize that the marine environment is very corrosive to anything that stays in it for too long. And inevitably sea weed and barnacles will add weight and will cramp any moving part. I cant imagine the kind of maintenance it would require to keep an array of any of those devices running in an effective way to supply the demand of power that will be needed in the near future.
Yeah, cuz God does not like nuclear..
Midohab IS serious!!
This is the future and it will work as long as the people who control and own the energy companies of today have nothing to do with this. If profits are still going to be the ‘name of the game’ then nothing will ever work. Tidal, Wave, Solar, and Wind. NO NUCLEAR!
no way! – r u serious!!! – you cannot be :p
This is the Future!
i hope its sooner than later.
revolutionary.
This is awesome! I think we’re heading the right way for this.
I abolutely agree with this, wave and tidal power generators can become an export champion if correctly backed.
common the scotish engineers!!
